I'm in the middle of watching I love the 80's strike back on VH1, and during the commercials they had a VH1 promo with MxPx's "Next Big Thing" playing during the entire duration of the promo. Kinda weird and kinda cool at the same time since it's VH1.

mxpx was so awesome tonite! i saw them at universal amp w/ dashboard confessional. this was only my second time seeing them live [the first time was a little over 2 years ago] and i was totally impressed. i never usually get all crazy-like at shows, but tonite was different. i must've been struck my the mxpx spirit cause i was scaring even the people in the seats next to me, and my best friend. haha. i totally lost my voice after their set but that's alright. anything for mxpx.

My friend gave me a copy yesterday. I dunno. Its really different. Really different. Someone was changing the cds while I was driving and when I first heard it, I couldn't even tell it was them. I mean, you know their sound. You know that bad ass drumming they have in like all their songs before. I couldn't tell it was them until I heard their voices. Its going to take a lot of getting used to I guess... I'm trying to like it. Is it me or are most of the vocals sounding alike? I think I jumped around in the tracks and felt like I was listening to the same song the whole time I was driving (I kinda wish I was and had only mistaken... but no). And then what's with all the weird intros? Seems so different... I couldn't bare to listen to the whole thing just yet. But hearing most of the intros, it sounded like there are all these weird electronic add-ins and ehh... I am mistaken? Maybe... But, I'm not gunna give up on the cd just yet

The Sept issue of AP with Chris Carrabba on the cover has Mike, Tom, and Yuri's yearbook pictures and quotes on what they thought their high school photo captions would have been. Poor Tom, he was voted "Most Likely To Be A Loser" by his social studies teacher, Mike thought he would have been "Most Likely To Be A Busboy For The Rest of His Life", and Yuri thought he would have been "Most Likely To Accidentally Kill Himself." Quite amusing ^_^ .

Hiding
Hiding. You deal with your depression by wearing a mask. No one ever knows your depressed, so no one can ever pity you. On the outside you're calm and collected. Inside, your blood boils...but that's ok, as long as everyone thinks you're normal.

How do you deal with your depression?

Yeah, but today was a good day anyways, I had fun, despite my overall bleak outlook on life at the moment. Went with Megan Kim Coral and Chris to se Pirates of the Caribbean and Waffle House, and the rest of my day I spent doing pretty much nothing so it was a good day.

Oh and I need you guys to help me think of the two bestest songs to put on an emo mixtape. Because I suck at decision making.

Yeah so DC is coming to Atlanta on 9-11 and my friend was like "wanna go," and I was like "yeah sure." And I was just watching MTV2 and something like "Dashboard Confessional's Favorite Videos" was on and there was a commercial for the tour. Well it turns out Vendetta Red, Brand New, and MXPX are coming too, yay. It's on a Thursday night which is cool because I don't have classes on Friday.

Yeah just thought I'd share that, cause no one else really cares...ok well now they have "Dashboard Confessional Unplugged (as opposed to the usual hardcore DC? lol)" and I'm bored so I think I'll watch. Now you can go back to reading your friends page...

Hey so I just though I'd say hi...I'm at the beach on my laptop like a loser. So I am watching MTV and they have the NFG GC MXPX and Stretch Armstrong concert on, but it's behind the scenes stuff, like mosh injuries. I don't like MTV much, but oh well. I can't tell what venue they are playing but it's not the one I was at (Birmingham, because some people weren't out of school yet and so we just made a road trip out of it).

What I think is weird is that two years ago when I saw MXPX, Good Charlotte opened for them and we were like, "Who are they? They are kinda good, for opening..." But no one had ever heard of them before, and now they are more popular than MXPX. In fact, it was advertised as the "New Found Glory and Good Charlotte Civic Tour." That's so stupid. And Stretch Armstrong has been around a while, but they opened. My friend Matt's cousin is the lead singer of New Found Glory...

Yeah ok so really I didn't have anything to say in this entry but I was watching that show and was like, "Hey no one ever writes in here, maybe I should."
